Specializing in the “Art of Having Fun,” Color Me Mine coaxes creativity out of every visitor—both children and adults! All the while, guests can socialize with old friends, meet new ones, and de-stress while doing something artistic and productive.
Never been to Color Me Mine before, The Upton at Rockville? Here’s how it works: First, sign up for a session that suits your situation. You can specify that you’d like a party session for a group of kids, a family activity, or just some time for you to relax on your own. If you prefer, you can simply enjoy an impromptu visit, as this Rockville studio accepts walk-ins.
When you arrive, take your pick from the hundreds of unfired pieces of ceramics on display (think plates, bowls, mugs, keepsakes, frames, figurines, and much more). Then, head to your work station to decorate your piece using the provided paints and supplies. When you’re done, you leave it to be fired in the kiln, then return about a week later to pick up your finished piece!
