Slices of apples and oranges bob in a sea of red wine, the traditional sangria tinta at La Tasca. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., sangria is only $2 a glass—and you have lots of options beyond the sangria tinta. Try the cava sangria, a blend of sparkling wine, white grape juice, and blueberries, or the sangria blanca with white wine, peach schnapps, chunks of fresh peach, and a dash of cinnamon. Mimosas are $2 during this weekend happy hour, too.
Order your favorite sangria and pick a few breakfast tapas to share with your fellow brunchers. Pair the fried, bacon-wrapped dates with beef empanadas, match tomato-topped toast with mussels in a garlicky wine sauce, or try some fried manchego cheese with honey-orange marmalade and a Spanish omelet with potatoes.
