The Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade is celebrating a special year in 2020! It’s the parade’s 20th anniversary, and they are pulling out all the stops. As in year’s past, this festive celebration of St. Paddy’s Day will feature several dancing acts, marching bands and pipe bands, children’s characters, Girl and Boy Scout troops, and appearances from the police department. Stake out a spot along the parade route, which spans Grand Corner Avenue in Gaithersburg, starting at Rio Boulevard.
The parade begins on March 14 at 10 a.m. Those coming to view the parade have ample parking available with three parking garages open along Washingtonian Boulevard completely free.
