Julii is taking lemons and making lemonade. With the current indoor dining restrictions in place and temperatures chilly in Bethesda, they’ve come up with an ingenious solution: igloos. Plastic, heated, private igloos, that is. They’re set up right outside the dining room, cozy bubbles just big enough for a few diners.
Reserve one for the dining-out experience even in the midst of these unusual times! Then dig into some of the internationally-inspired cuisine, such as the savory Alsatian tart with Benton’s bacon, onion, gruyere, creme fraiche, and honey. For the main course, dig into the chicken kabob with harissa, turmeric rice, fennel slaw, and sesame labneh, or try the steak frites—a pan-seared ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce. Note that you’re also welcome to order Julii’s delicious food for pickup or sit down in the socially-distanced dining room!
