Fifteen years ago, three DC friends shared coffee and the spark of an idea. From that idea, Ike Grigoropolous, Ted Xenohristos, and Dimitri Moshovitis launched their first Cava Mezze location. And, since then, their vision has grown, expanding through Capitol Hill, Clarendon, Olney, and right here in Rockville.
When you visit Cava Mezze today, you have the chance to taste a bite of that dream. In a more literal sense, though, you’ll taste a variety of traditional Greek flavors. As the children of Greek immigrants themselves, you know that the Cava Mezze founders have an authentic vision. Naturally, that vision includes the dishes you can’t help but associate with the Mediterranean islands. Hummus and tzatziki complement your choice of classic dishes, like chicken souvlaki, lamb chops, and gyros.
Prefer to take your tastebuds on a trip to Greece earlier in the day? Be sure to check out Cava Mezze’s brunch options. With their Brunch Mania menu bringing your table together or items like gyro hash or an open face chicken pita, you’ll find all your favorite flavors in delicious, brunch-worthy form.
